The former Kensington-Bailey Branch of Liberty Bank at 3065 Bailey Avenue (corner Kensington Avenue). Like most of the buildings designed for Liberty by the local firm of Dietel & Wade, this is an exuberant example of the Art Deco style of architecture, with geometric ornamentation and very highly stylized Classical details abundant. The building was completed in 1929 and remained in service as an active bank branch until the early 1980s. This historic parcel boasts over 10,000 square feet of commercial, office and retail space. Current tenants are Liberty Mattress, Lamar and a restaurant.
